Overall Series Review

The Good Fight is an overtly political legal drama that functions as a vehicle for contemporary intersectional activism. It abandons the universal themes of its predecessor to focus on racial grievances, gender warfare, and a deep-seated hostility toward the American political status quo. The show leans heavily into identity-based hierarchies, framing professional power and ideological purity as the ultimate virtues while treating traditional institutions and historical norms with open contempt.

Categorical Breakdown

Identity Politics10/10

The narrative revolves around a predominantly Black law firm where race defines every legal strategy and interpersonal interaction. Characters are defined by their intersectional status, and the show frequently lectures the audience on systemic white supremacy, reparations, and inherent privilege.

Oikophobia10/10

The series portrays the American justice system and political foundations as irredeemably corrupt and malicious. It expresses open contempt for traditional Western governance, framing the nation's history and institutions as tools of oppression that are fundamentally broken.

Feminism9/10

Female leads are portrayed as infallible 'Girl Bosses' who dominate their male counterparts in every professional and moral arena. Men are consistently depicted as either bumbling, toxic, or morally bankrupt, while traditional motherhood is ignored in favor of ruthless corporate and political ambition.

LGBTQ+8/10

Sexual orientation is treated as a primary defining characteristic for lead characters. The show centers queer relationships and incorporates modern gender ideology, often portraying traditional views on the nuclear family as outdated or bigoted.

Anti-Theism7/10

The show operates in a world of moral relativism where ethics are dictated by political power rather than objective truth. Religious faith is portrayed as a tool for hypocrites or a sign of intellectual weakness, offering no moral guidance for the characters.
